The security of our users is one of our top priorities, so we've put together a quick guide to help you spot when you might be being targeted by a scammer posing as Rent4sure.
If you ever receive an email that looks to be from us, asking for your username and password details, do not respond to it, and never open any attachments it contains. You should also never provide your details through any website linked in the email.
Users are required to periodically change their passwords to help ensure system security. Users will only be prompted to change their password when logging into their Agent Suite once every 3 months, to help keep our system secure, and only after they have already entered their current password.
If you ever receive an email that looks to be from us, asking you to change your password, please do not respond to it, open any attachments it contains or click any links provided.
The only exception to this is if you request a password reset from our website. When you do so, you must ensure you are on the rent4sure.co.uk website (you can do this by checking the certificate - see below).
We send a reset link to your inbox to verify that it's actually you resetting the password.
All modern web browsers visually indicate if a site uses HTTPS with some sort of padlock icon, usually on the left side of the address bar. Rent4sure's systems will always use HTTPS which ensures a secure connection.
Our systems will also always have a valid certificate. You can check this by clicking on the padlock icon in your browser and viewing the certificate.
All of our email addresses end with rent4sure.co.uk or refsys.rent4sure.co.uk.
